Summer Essentials

I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand Sacramento Summers. I hate the heat, I hate the sun... you get the idea. It's because of this that I need extra help to conquer these last days of summer without going crazy, so I thought I would be nice and share my beauty essentials for this season with you. Enjoy!

1. Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport Ultra Light Sunscreen $8.99

Ever since I was a little girl, my mom forced me to wear sunscreen, and I'm so glad she did. Blemishes are no joke and if you want to have better skin when you're older (because you most likely won't notice the damage the sun is doing to your skin while you're young), then start wearing sunscreen. Even if you don't go out, but are using a computer or your phone, your skin is still exposed to the UV rays of these devices, so keep that in mind!

2. Mario Badescu Facial Spray $12.00

Almost every influencer talks about this product, so I had to try it and it makes so much sense. I love this spray especially for the summer because I apply it 3-4 times a day, and every time I do I feel refreshed. I actually use it for my face and hair!

3. Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in "Wisp" $8.00

You guys already know I love this highlighter, and I don't have much to say about this one anymore since I've already stated that it's amazing, so let's move on...

4. Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in "Banana Daiquiri" $5.00

Since we're talking about Colourpop, I wanted to share this amazingly beautiful eyeshadow color with you. This is one of the most unique eyeshadows I have ever seen, and even though it's not a regular tone, you can still do many looks with it. You can wear it by itself, with a smokey eye, or just a matte dark eyeshadow and it looks amazing! Beautiful for any sunny day or even a pool party.

5. Wet and Wild Contouring Palette $4.99

When I saw Martin Catalogne (one of my favorite Peruvian YouTubers) recommending this product on a video, I knew I had to try it. Something that I love about Wet and Wild is that they make good products that are also affordable, so even if they don't work for you, you don't feel like you've spent next month's rent on it. Fortunately, these powders worked amazingly for me. The banana powder makes my skin look more natural than when I wear a regular setting powder, and the bronzer gives me that sun kissed glow that I love.

6. Botanic Fiber Facial Mask $4.99

I find sheet masks so relaxing and refreshing that they're just perfect for a hot summer night or a fun pajama party with your friends!

7. Bath and Body Works Almond & Vanilla Body Cream $6.50

Since I have dry skin, I need a good body lotion that actually moisturizes my skin and lasts longer than only a couple hours. This cream in particular has helped me a lot this summer and I recommend it to anyone who has dry skin!

8. Secret Classic Coca Butter Kiss Deodorant $4.99

When we talk about deodorants, we all have our favorites, and this one is mine! It keeps me fresh and clean the entire day. The only thing I don't like is that if I'm not careful enough, it can get on my clothes, which I hate... but other than that, this deodorant is perfect for these hot summer days.

9.  L'Oréal True Match Lumi Foundation $12.99

I couldn't NOT include my favorite foundation on this post. This product makes my skin look healthy, natural, and like it's practically glowing. If you have dry skin, this foundation is going to work great for you, but I do not recommend it for those who tend to have more oily skin.

10. Lip Revival Sugar Scrub $14.00

I don't only have dry skin, but dry lips! This particular scrub is one of the most amazing lip products I've ever tried. It also tastes amazing! Ever since I tried this, I stopped needing to apply lip balm before being able to wear those matte liquid lipsticks we all love. I usually apply this before I put on lipstick and it makes my lips look so much smoother.

And these are all my summer essentials! Let me know which ones are your faves in the comments below.
